Between July 4 and July 12,a fund raising activity was organized by JUSTECH for Chang Peng’s father.Employees were active to offer a helping and making a donation after theactivity began. With an efficient and high-standard work style throughout thecompany, the activity raised RMB 117,700 (excluding private donations to ChangPeng) in just a week, including RMB 67,800 raised at the Company and RMB 49,900raised through a fund raising platform.
On the afternoon of July 12, we visited Chang’s father in Dongtai People’sHospital with funds we raised. As Chang Peng was on a business trip in Korea,his sister gave up a reception. She led us to the ward and expressed her thanksto us all the way. In the ward, we saw Chang’s father lying on the bed, he wasin post-surgery recovery, and was unable to talk and show any facialexpression, but he kept looking at us. Amy, Director of the HR Department, andLiu Jingyan, an assistant in Chang’s department, also engaged in this visit,they asked Mrs. Chang about his father’s health conditions, and asked hisfather to receive treatment and keep healthy. Then we gave all the money weraised to Chang’s sister and her father was moved to tears.
Wesaid goodbye to Chang’s father and left the ward. “My father is the saddestone, to take better care of him, I quitted. We have been heavily in debt foryears since my mother developed a disease and received treatment. Now my father’sdisease puts this poor family in a more desperate situation. But only if thereis a possibility for my father to get well, we will try to save his life evenit will further increase our debt. But my father feels remorseful, thinks he isa burden and often wants to stop treatment. Fortunately, we have your support,without you, we will not be able to get through it,” Chang’s sister said witheyes filled with tears.
